Acclaimed ‘Drova Forsaken Kin’ Continues to Grow With Massive Updates

DROVA Roadmap & Accolades Trailer

A growing and even more expansive experience, challenge and dark world!

Deck13 Spotlight and Just2D are happy to announce that DROVA  – Forsaken Kin, the grim dark Pixel RPG set in a mystic celtic world praised by press and loved by players (96% positive on Steam!), will continue to receive some massive updates in the coming weeks and months – all of them being released for free. To celebrate the release of the Roadmap for the game, an ‘Accolades Trailer‘ has been released!

Reception & Plans
DROVA was received well by press and players. While many players are already asking for DLCs and a follow up, the team has decided to support the game with three major updates next with regular patches.

Feedback Update (November)
This patch is based purely on Community feedback. It includes a map for the cave system below the Remnants Camp, a Legendary Slingshot, the functionality to reset the character via rare items, balancing adjustments and many other things.

Insane Update (December)
While New Game+ would not directly fit into the game, the team is working on a new difficulty mode which will come with new additional attacks for certain enemies, new enemy behavior and generally stronger monsters. And this new mode can also be customized even further.

The Flesh Rises Update (March)
A new challenge arises…

After all three updates have been released, Just2D will focus on developing their next project. Both developer and publisher have decided to not focus on a DLC for multiple reasons. “We see DROVA as a finished experience” says Christian Sandkämper, Co-Founder of Just2D, “We don’t want to come up with an half-assed cashgrab. Instead we’re making sure DROVA lives up to the expectations set by the Community and focus on the next step for our Studio and improve ourselves based on the feedback we got.”

Grab your axe, sharpen your blades and explore a grim dark world in Drova – Forsaken Kin, out now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
